Victim of Tosco Refinery Explosion to Protest Cuts

Injured workers will protest Governor Schwarzenegger’s workers’ compensation proposal that would cut benefits, force injured workers to be treated by a Company-chosen doctor and leave insurance companies unregulated at a news conference in front of the governor’s office on Monday, April 12th.

Injured workers will call upon the governor to change the proposed deal he hopes to strike this week.

Experts will outline how much worse off injured workers would be under the proposal.
