An Urgent Appeal from CAAA President David Schwartz
PROTEST - 1 Year of Misery - Workers’ Memorial Day
GET ON THE BUS!
Legislative Support for fixing Arnold’s Workers’ Comp. Mess
Our message that Arnold made things worse, not better, for injured workers is getting through to legislators. Yesterday, Sen. Sheila Kuehl said, “”I believe that we understand better that some of those compromises were harmful to injured workers and didn’t help employers either, and we’re quite willing to amend what we did last year.”
The April 19th protests are our chance to bring the need for change home in a big way.
Are you frustrated? Angry? Let them know it!
I am frustrated, angry and bitter about the cuts to injured workers’ care, rights and compensation. Are you?
As frustrated as we are, injured workers are ten times angrier at the governor’s cuts. I’m going to make sure that every injured worker I serve has the chance to make their anger known next Tuesday at one of our rallies.
Call your clients and urge them to lend their presence and their voice to this important protest!
