Associate Membership

Individuals (and groups) not eligible for regular membership of the Association may become eligible for associate membership if they meet one of the following requirements for associate membership:

  1. Active member of the State Bar of California, in good standing, ineligible for regular membership in the Association;
  2. Physicians, as defined in Labor Code Section 3209.3, in good standing with their respective regulatory bodies, and who, whether or not are Qualified Medical Examiners, adhere to and comply with the requirements of Labor Code Sections 139.3, 139.4, 139.43, 139.45, and 4628;
  3. Other individuals or organizations who do not represent or appear on behalf of injured workers before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, and who adhere to the objectives and purposes of our organization and who comply with all laws in an ethical manner.

Non-attorney associate members of CAAA include doctors, chiropractors, medical therapists, rehabilitation, and vocational specialists and counselors, all of whom are specifically trained in the tasks necessary to assist the injured or disabled worker to regain their rightful place in the work force. The associate membership also consists of med-legal vendors and specialized office services vendors.

Associate Membership Dues:

Platinum – $2200 - for companies with multiple listings, you also get a plaque and special recognition in our online directory and in the convention syllabi;
Gold – $1200 - for a single person and you get special recognition in our syllabi;
Silver – $850 - membership for a single person

CAAA Memberships are billed on a calendar year basis, January 1 through December 31 and are non-transferable.
